Bali Seaplane Charter Terms of Service

Bali Seaplane Charter Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of baliseaplanecharter.com and the coordination service behind it. Bali Seaplane Charter is an independent desk of Juara Holding Group (est. 2015) that arranges charters with licensed Indonesian operators — it does not own or fly aircraft. The operator’s own conditions of carriage govern the actual flight, and every quote is indicative until a deposit is paid.

Who Runs Bali Seaplane Charter, and What Does That Mean for You?

Bali Seaplane Charter is a trading name used by Juara Holding Group to coordinate seaplane charter requests in and around Bali. Juara Holding Group is a broker and coordination desk, not an aircraft operator, and is not affiliated with any specific named operator. When you request a charter through this site, we identify a licensed operator with available capacity, relay your requirements, and manage payment, paperwork and communication on your behalf.

The flight itself — aircraft, crew, routing, weather decisions and safety calls — is performed and governed entirely by the licensed operator under its own air operator certificate and conditions of carriage. Those conditions, not this page, control matters like baggage allowance, crew authority in flight, and technical delay. We will send you the operator’s conditions of carriage before you pay a deposit.

As of September 2026, seaplane charters coordinated through this desk typically use a Cessna Caravan 208 EX Amphibian, chartered as a whole aircraft for up to 8 guests, based at Ngurah Rai International Airport in South Bali, with water landings at approved coastal points, resorts and marinas. Amphibious capability means the aircraft can use both the runway and water — it cannot land on any beach on request; every landing point needs prior operator and authority approval plus a workable sea state on the day.

Are the Prices and Availability on This Site Binding?

No. Every figure shown on this site is an indicative estimate as of the publish date and is subject to change without notice, because charter pricing depends on aircraft availability, fuel, handling fees at the chosen water base, positioning flights, and season. A quote becomes a binding booking only once:

  1. The operator has confirmed the aircraft, crew and landing clearance in writing.
  2. You have paid the deposit specified in your written quote.
  3. You have received a booking confirmation referencing your charter date, route and passenger count.

Nothing on this site, including any number a page displays, constitutes an offer capable of acceptance by browsing alone.

How Do Deposits and Balance Payments Work?

Charter reservations are secured with a deposit; the remaining balance is due before departure. Exact figures vary by operator, aircraft positioning and route, and are always confirmed in your written quote, never assumed from a published rate card.

Payment stage When it is due What it secures
Deposit (typically 30-50% of the charter fee) At booking, to hold the aircraft and crew Provisional aircraft and slot reservation
Balance No later than 7 days before departure (72 hours for bookings made inside that window) Final confirmation; issue of the flight manifest
Extras (waiting time, add-on legs, catering) Invoiced after the flight or added to the balance Services used beyond the original quote

Deposits are paid to Juara Holding Group as coordinating agent and are passed to the operator to secure the aircraft; they are not a fee for advice or a guarantee of weather-independent departure.

What Happens If Weather or Sea State Cancels the Flight?

Seaplane operations depend on wind, swell and daylight at the water landing point, not only on rain. The pilot in command has final authority to delay, reroute or cancel a flight on safety grounds, and that decision cannot be appealed or overridden by the coordination desk or the passenger.

  • If the operator cancels for weather or sea state before departure, your deposit and any balance paid are eligible for a full refund or rebooking to the next available date, at your choice.
  • If a flight departs and is cut short by conditions encountered en route, refund or credit for the unflown portion follows the operator’s own conditions of carriage, which we will forward to you at booking.
  • Dry season (April-October) generally brings calmer water and a lower cancellation rate than wet season (November-March); neither this site nor the operator can guarantee conditions on any given day, including during peak periods such as July-August, Christmas-New Year, and Easter.

Can You Reschedule, Add Passengers, or Cancel?

Rescheduling requests must reach us by WhatsApp or email at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure to have a reasonable chance of a same-fare-class alternative date; later requests are treated as cancellations subject to the operator’s cancellation schedule. Adding passengers after booking is subject to the aircraft’s 8-seat limit and total weight capacity, and may change the quoted fare.

Cancellations initiated by the passenger (not for weather or sea state) follow the operator’s published cancellation schedule, which is typically tiered by notice period and disclosed in your written quote before deposit. We do not set these tiers ourselves, because the operator carries the cost of the reserved aircraft and crew.

What Must Passengers Confirm Before Check-In?

Every guest named on a charter manifest must meet the conditions below, because seaplane operations carry stricter weight and identification requirements than scheduled airline flights.

Requirement Detail
Weight declaration Accurate body weight for each passenger, requested at booking and reconfirmed at check-in; the operator may reweigh or adjust the manifest for safety
Identification Valid passport or Indonesian KTP for every passenger, matching the name on the manifest
Check-in time Typically 45-60 minutes before departure at the operator’s Ngurah Rai facility; confirmed in your booking email
Baggage Soft-sided bags only, subject to the operator’s stated weight limit per flight
Fitness to fly Passengers must disclose mobility limitations, pregnancy beyond the operator’s stated term, or medical conditions relevant to a water landing

A false weight declaration, missing identification, or late arrival at check-in can result in denied boarding without refund, at the operator’s discretion.

What Are the Limits of Liability?

Juara Holding Group’s role is limited to coordination: identifying an operator, relaying your requirements, and managing payment and communication. We are not the carrier, do not operate the aircraft, and are not liable for flight delay, cancellation, injury, loss of baggage, or any outcome arising from the operation of the flight itself — those matters are governed exclusively by the operator’s conditions of carriage and Indonesian aviation regulation.

Our liability, where it arises from an error in coordination on our part (such as a booking processed against incorrect passenger details we recorded), is limited to the value of the coordination fee paid to us for that booking. We are not a licensed financial, legal or tax adviser, and nothing on this site should be read as such advice.

How Is Your Data Handled?

We collect the personal data needed to arrange your charter — names, contact details, passport or KTP numbers, and weight declarations — and share it only with the confirmed operator and relevant Indonesian aviation or immigration authorities where required. Data handling follows Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law No. 27 of 2022); where a visitor is located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we apply equivalent GDPR-consistent practices on request, including access, correction and deletion of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Which Law Governs These Terms?

These terms, and any dispute arising from the coordination service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, with jurisdiction in Bali. This does not affect any separate liability terms in the operator’s own conditions of carriage, which govern the flight itself.
